A full suite of 20 unit converters built for engineers, students, cooks, travellers and developers. Every converter shows your result, a complete cross-conversion table to every supported unit, plus common worked examples.
The length, area, volume and weight converters cover both metric (m, m², L, kg) and imperial (ft, ft², gal, lb) systems with high-precision factors. Pairs perfectly with the temperature converter, which handles the non-linear °C/°F/K/R conversions correctly (most simple converters don't).
For engineering use, the energy, power, pressure, density, torque and frequency converters use the exact BIPM SI factors (1 kWh = 3,600,000 J; 1 atm = 101,325 Pa exactly; 1 mechanical HP = 745.69987158227 W). The angle converter spans degrees, radians, gradians, arcminutes and arcseconds — useful in navigation and astronomy.
The fuel economy converter handles the inverse relationship between MPG (US/UK) and L/100km correctly — a 20% larger UK gallon means UK MPG numbers are ~20% higher than US MPG for the SAME car. The data storage and bandwidth converters distinguish decimal (GB, 10⁹) from binary (GiB, 2³⁰) units so you understand why a 1 TB drive shows ~931 GB in your OS.
The cooking converter solves a real headache: US legal cup (236.588 mL) ≠ US customary cup (240 mL) ≠ metric cup (250 mL) ≠ UK cup (284 mL). Pick the right one before halving your grandmother's recipe.
The currency converter uses indicative reference cross-rates only — for live trades, use a brokerage or bank feed. For all other converters, the underlying factors are stable physical constants and standards-body values, so results are deterministic.
